Global System Commands

System commands influence the execution of an experiment or do some global settings. Some system commands are global, some may be used at the trial level or session level to change settings while the experiment is running. In this section only global system commands are explained. See chapter trial commands or session commands for an explanation of other system commands.

Global system commands

MAPFB                    Assigns custom labels to the feedback categories

MAPKEY                    Assigns a different symbol to a response key

SCREENAREA                    Sets dimension of the display area

SCREENCOLOR                    Sets standard fore- and background

SETRSEED                    Sets explicit random seed

SETURL                    Activates dynamic URL display in web browser

SETCOLOR                    Sets standard fore- and background

SETECHO                    Defines screen echo for responses

SETFONT                    Sets current font

SETSYNC                    Sets synchronization mode for stimulus presentation

AP                    Align Picture

SC                    Set standard fore- and background

SE                    Define screen echo for responses

SF                    Set text font

SO                    Set overlay

SR                    Set rotation of picture presentations

SV                    Set volume of auditory presentation
