Value

Numerical value or text. If this value is omitted of a question mark ‘?’ then the system will prompt for the value at the beginning of the experiment.

 Example of using Parameters

PARAMETER STIMTIME 1000

TRIAL T1
…
SP Item StimPos 1 STIMTIME

TRIAL T2
…
SP Item StimPos 1 STIMTIME

This example defines a Parameter STIMTIME with value 1000. This Parameter is then used in multiple trials in context of the SP trial command. If you want to change the stimulus time in your script globally, you can just update the Parameter instead of going through all occurrences of stimulus time.
