DS (Define Scale)

This command defines a visual analog scale or LIKERT scale that can be used to collect ratings from subjects. The DF-command is typically used to construct questionnaires which use a visual analog scale or n-point Likert scale to capture attitude or mood ratings.

This command is used in combination with the SS and GS trial commands to define, initialize, and record a scale-based rating.

 DS [ScaleType [Distance [MinVal [MaxVal [DefVal [LogMode]]]]]]

Defaults:

ScaleType 1 (VAS)

Distance 100 mm

MinVal VAS: 0, Likert: 1

MaxVal VAS: Length of scale, Likert: Number of Labels

DefVal 0 No default value

LogMode 0 No logging of scale value
